In this position, we offer a fixed-term employment for 12 months, with good chances of extension.

About the job

In this role, you will set up, adjust, and operate our machines, tools, and equipment according to applicable instructions and regulations. We have high quality standards for our products, and an important part of your mission is to continuously ensure the results. You will contribute your knowledge to our improvement work and be involved in developing our operations. To ensure our safety, health, and environmental requirements, you will perform operator maintenance of production equipment and work areas – safety always comes first with us. The work involves shift work, which may vary depending on the needs of the business.

Examples of tasks:

• Operating automated machines (CNC).
• Manual operations, such as picking or loading.
• Quality work, such as measurement and inspection.

Who you are

We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude and a strong desire to develop within technology. Your high work ethic and sense of responsibility are qualities that fit well with us. You do not need to know everything from the start – we provide you with the right conditions and support along the way.

A good foundation:

• A technical high school education or equivalent work experience.
• Good knowledge of Swedish – spoken and written.
• Meritorious: experience in CNC, process technology, automation, control systems, or manufacturing industry.
• Meritorious: knowledge of English is seen as an advantage.
• Attention to detail and quality thinking.

About us

The facility in Gimo is our largest manufacturing unit with about 1200 employees. The unit is divided into two industrial areas with several production units that manufacture carbide powders, carbide cutting tools, drills, mills, turning holders, carbide materials, and machine equipment. Our products are used in both larger and smaller industries, such as the automotive and aerospace industries, cutting machining, and wind power.
